Very soon I will have a new laptop and I know it comes without an operating system installed. I want to clone my current hard drive and OS so that I can run it via USB in the new laptop. I know it is not the best option but I think in order to test if everything works fine, it would be a good idea.
I’ve found some guides on how to clone the hard drive but it is required that I erase all the stuff that I don’t want to be cloned. This is a problem for me because I don’t have enough space to move the extra 100GB of personal stuff on that drive. I was wondering if it is possible to select the folder to be cloned to the backup hard drive and make sure that I can use it to boot Windows from it?
