The winner of this year's Main Event is guaranteed to take home at least $10M - not a bad payday for an event that's going to cost you $10,000 to play. At least 6,000 participants are expected to try their luck starting on Saturday, July 5th.

The WSOP, in conjunction with NeoMam Studios, created a fun and interactive infographic detailing just how long it would take someone to make $10M in their regular lines of work.

While it will take the WSOP Main Event winner 10 days to make $10M, it would take an American - on a average yearly income - 237 years to do the same ... a high school teacher in the US? 240 years! Heck, even a surgeon would have to work 39 years before making the same payday as the next Main Event Champion.
